In the production, repeated preloading and excessive preloading should be avoided, and the printing content should be reasonably designed to avoid full plate printing.

One of the biggest links of the printing press on cardboard is the improper pressure adjustment during the paper feed wheel. When the gap between the paper feed wheel is too small, the cardboard will be flattened, and the paper will naturally become soft after the cardboard is flattened and the carton will have low pressure resistance.

Full plate printing: control printing pressure and ink viscosity

The printing pressure is too large, mainly when the full plate printing is most obvious. When the printing press on the board too much, the board will become soft. Secondly, when printing the full plate, the ink viscosity is too large, and the ink viscosity will be aggravated, and the ink amount will increase the moisture of the cardboard and reduce the wear resistance of the print. Therefore, when printing the full plate, it is necessary to control the printing pressure and ink viscosity, otherwise it will cause the cardboard to become soft.

Continuous rainfall season, the air is humid, in the case of humidity increases, the physical properties of cardboard sharply decline, mainly reflected in the cardboard of the carton becomes soft, physical indicators are reduced, and the pressure resistance of the carton decreases. Moisture recovery will do great damage to our outer packing boxes. After the boxes are stacked, the cartons are prone to collapse and deformation, carton rupture, and stacking and dumping directly cause damage to the goods in the cartons.

When the cardboard box is stored and used in the rainy season, the corresponding coordination and control should be done in the following links:

1, the carton should be neatly placed, should not be stacked too high, to avoid the carton stacked too high and collapse. Or to re-calculate the compressive cracking degree of the carton in wet weather. At the same time, the carton should be stored on the tray, so that the carton is isolated from the surface, and the quality of the carton is reduced due to moisture on the surface. At the same time, when the carton is placed on the tray, the carton should not exceed the edge of the tray as far as possible.

2. When storing cartons, the warehouse should be kept dry, the doors and Windows of the warehouse should be closed, and the cartons should be kept away from the Windows/doors. In order to avoid its erosion by the moisture of the external environment, the moisture content of the carton increases, so that the carton becomes soft and the quality decreases, and the carton is better protected from moisture.

3, lime is an adsorbent,1 kg of quick lime can absorb about 0.3 kg of water in the air. On rainy days, it can be wrapped in cloth or sack with quicklime and placed in various parts of the warehouse to help ensure that the air in the warehouse is dry.

4, the cardboard that has been stored for a period of time or the carton that has been used in circulation, if the carton is found to be soft before use, it is recommended to pull the batch of cartons to a ventilated place to dry and dehumidification, this method can improve the strength of the carton to a certain extent.

5, in the continuous rainy season, if the carton strength has strict requirements (insufficient compressive strength will have a serious impact) and the current paper physical property configuration parameters are difficult to resist moisture caused by physical indicators deterioration, the carton can be appropriately improved to slow the impact of wet environment on the strength of the carton.
